Laser!
Laser! is a puzzle game in which you're given a laser system with several pieces removed. The completed system must direct laser beams of the proper color to the proper targets. Of course, with the pieces removed, it no longer works. Your job is to replace the pieces where they belong to get the system working again.
Laser! puzzles can be made up of a variety of optics-related components such as lasers, targets, mirrors, half-mirrors, prisms, filters, splitters, and combiners. Howver, for any given puzzle, only the pieces supplied by the puzzle designer are available to fix the system. You may, therefore, have to use some pieces in unusual ways to get the job done.
A puzzle design mode is built into Laser! You can use the puzzle designer to put together puzzles to share with others or to just experiment with the components. I've been told that, because Laser! uses accurate rules for color combination, splitting, and filtering, along with a lot of real-world components, it makes a nice learning tool for basic optics.
